What is Biofilm? Well at first thought it seems like it may be a movie about Bio BUT Bio what? Biology, Biochemistry or a Biography. The Biofilm we are talking about today is associated with the health of your gut and so that is pretty important to anyone with Crohn's.
Biofilm is basically a protective film that protects yeast, parasites and bacteria so they can survive even the strongest antibiotics and anti-fungals (natural or medications) that would potentially kill them off.
Jordan Pie, Practicing Nutritionist at Changing Habits recently wrote an amazing post on Biofilm.
