Mouth Ulcers can be caused by a number of reasons and it is important to find the cause of why you are suffering from them. Some of the main causes are
Because you suffer from crohn’s disease I have found that the most common cause is Vitamin B deficiency and obviously immune system dysfunction, poor digestive function and the big one – stress.
So we need to tackle these areas of your health.
I would recommend the following as things to do in order to cure your mouth ulcers.
Supplement your diet with a B vitamin plus vitamin C complex, I would also recommend adding zinc as well
Taking Digestive bitters/enzymes as they can help improve digestion
Rinse mouth with warm filtered salt water before bed each night after cleaning teeth
Using a mixture of oil of cloves and tea tree oil 50/50 can help with the pain and infection caused by mouth ulcers. Apply a very small dab onto the ulcer
I would also recommend eating more red and yellow vegetables, non-citrus fruit, lean meats and seafood. Repeated attacks could also be a sign of being run down. Ensure you undertake moderate exercise, get plenty of fresh air and adequate sleep. You should also avoid spicy foods and any food known to cause problems, and also work on ways to reduce stress.
