Antibiotics can be a life saver. In fact when I developed septicemia in hospital after surgey I can honestly say that they saved my life. But antibiotics can also cause problems. When we take these antibiotics we are destroying not only the dangerous bacteria and microbiology that are doing us harm but we are also destroying the important bacteria and microbiology in our digestive system that are important for our health.
So what can we do?
Well luckily there are certain things you can do to help maintain the health of your digestive system.
The two most important steps are
1. Consuming bone broths everyday as they help to heal the gut.
2. Then replenish the gut with lots of good bacteria by consuming fermented foods.
